Finding Information on the Philippine Scouts

Our Facebook group has nearly 2,000 members and has many posts about individual Scouts and their background. Please take a look, and post a reply if you can supply additional information on the military service of any of the listed personnel who served in or with the Philippine Scouts.

If you have a request for information, you should also post on our Facebook group or contact us at info@philippinescouts.org

While the PSHS is pleased to assist where possible in obtaining information on former and deceased Philippine Scouts, our archives are not extensive and we do not keep records of individual soldiers or rosters other than the ones posted on this site. More complete information often can be acquired through the Department of Veterans Affairs. To obtain a request form, please call your County Veterans Service Office or the national VA at (800) 827-1000 and ask for VA Form 180 (Request Pertaining to Military Records). This form is also available on the VA website (www.va.gov).

Philippine Scout Information Exchange

Scout Information Exchange is intended to improve communication within the Society and between our members and others interested in the historical heritage of the Philippine Scouts. It will function as an information exchange, reporting on new articles, books and films on the Scouts, aiding historical researchers and soliciting additional information on individual Scouts and Scout units.

Please post to our Facebook group or contact us at info@philippinescouts.org if you have contributions or additions to the Exchange.
