Preserving the history, heritage, and legacy of the Philippine Scouts for present and future generations

Other USAFFE Militaria

On July 26, 1941, United States Army Forces-Far East (USAFFE) took command of all U.S. Army units (including the Philippine Scouts) and the Philippine Commonwealth Army, under the leadership of Lt. General Douglas MacArthur.

This section features the men and women who shared the same line of defense with the Scouts under USAFFE. They, too, deserve recognition for their gallant efforts in defending not just Bataan and Corregidor, but protecting country, freedom, democracy, and each other.

Whether American or Filipino, these Philippine Defenders became heroes.

And, although these pieces of militaria may look similar, each one has its own story to tell.
