Can I request for my father's service records? His name is Mariano Sagum Cuaresma, a member of the Philippine Scout who fought against the Japanese Imperial Army in Bataan and was included in the Grueling Death March.

After the Liberation, he was a member of the Philippine Scout which were deployed in Okinawa, Japan sometime in 1946 or 1947.

If you could provide me the necessary documents, they would be of great help for his surviving wife and for us his children.

Thank you and I hope that we can contribute to the betterment of our group.

Yours Truly,

Noel T. Cuaresma

Dear Mr. Cuaresma,

You will have to approach the Veterans Administration for these records.  Information on doing so is available on our PSHS website.

Sincerely,

JMH
