Hi,

I'm planning to put up a PS display in the future and with it comes my reproduction Philippine Defence Medal. In the Medal, the word Bataan was clearly and correctly spelled as opposed to Corregidor I., which was written " COHREBIOGR I." Was there a typo in the original medal hence every repro are just being faithful? or my repro was just plain rubbish?

Thank you for any in put in this matter.

Bob Capistrano, an expert on Scout badges and medals, assures me that the misspelling of Corregidor would not have been on the authentic Philippine Defence Medal.  Newsletter Editor
