You need to supply more information than this.  In what unit or at least type of unit did he serve (i.e. infantry, cavalry, artillery or support)?  When did he join and where?  Did he survive the war?  What evidence do you have that he was a Philippine Scout?  Any more information you can provide would be useful.  Editor
