SFC Benjamin Mariano
Apr 30th, 2007, 12:13pm

Good afternoon,

My father, SFC Benjamin Mariano (Ret) served in the Philippines as a Scout, and was captured, marched in the Death March, escaped and then, who knows...

He passed away December 10th, 2000, at the age of 80. I'm sure he lived a comfortable life, in suburbam Maryland, where he finished a 30 year career in the US Army.

Where would I start, to find out the details of his days during the War.

Thanks,
Benjamin Mariano Jr.

Note: We have furnished Mr. Mariano with the address of  the National Personnel Records Center.  Can anyone supply additional information about SFC Mariano and/or his wartime service?
