One of the Web Sites on Rod Halls list is by a US Navy sailor who "got stuck in" STIC by the Japanese and was with those servicemen who were taken out by the Japs.  He puts the number at 25 or 26 and they went to Bilibid, I think.  It covers his involvement in WW II, so it is quit lengthy but has a good account of STIC to POW.

Is the US Navy serviceman in STIC.

Re: Tom Moore's POW/Internee webpages

[color=Purple]This list of families and individuals are the web pages written, and given,  by kin and friends to Tom Moore who places them on one of his many web pages.

An idea: the Scouts could invite Tom to post his database (of Scouts) here, and maybe the Scouts, families, and friends would then write their stories in an email or Word and send them  to Tom for his  web pages.

Personally, I think that is an  excellent way to insure the preservation of the stories and histories of the Philippine Scouts. Is there any interest in doing this?

BTW: All of Tom's web sites can be accessed through this one page about his uncle: http://www.cnac.org/emilscott/

Tom hosts my mom's web page. Want to see it?  http://www.cnac.org/emilscott/lewey01.htm
