Reading, PA WWII Weekend and Airshow
Jun 07th, 2005, 10:11pm
Mario Dizon and I represented the Scouts in the Reading, PA WWII Weekend Airshow. The living history event had over 1000 reenactors. It was a very well attended event with lots of veterans. Many spectators approached us to talk about history or to talk about how their fathers or grandfathers were there in Bataan or buried at Fort McKinley, etc. It was also a success in terms of educating some of the spectators who asked us what unit we were representing. There would be glimmers of recognition from their eyes when we told them.

The rest of the Dizon brothers were not able to make it because they were preparing the jeep for the New York parade scheduled for the following day (photos in another thread).
