GGBA Chapter President Cion Rael has discovered that Francisco Alonzo (#2) died in the San Francisco area last July 9  and Bautista Deligero (#6) in Hawaii in 1988 at the age of 79.

Former Scout Felipe Fernandez contributed the following:

Number 5 on your list, SSgt Emilano Tabelon of Cebu may have been MSgt Emiliano Tabelon of Cebu. If the rank and spelling of his last name as I noted is right, he was one of the soliders who worked for me when I was chief Quartermaster at Camp Stoneman, California in 1949. He retired  and went back to Manila in 1950. When I was on a delay enroute to Korea in 1951 I saw him in Port Area, Manila, and he said  that he had a house and lived with his family in Sampaloc, Manila. His brother-in-law, MSgt Bolilan was also in Camp Stoneman at the time of his retirement and if Bolilan is still alive you might ask him. Unfortunately I don't know how to get in touch with Bolilan. - Felipe

Jose V. Aventino is my grandfather.  He was in 2nd BN, 57th infantry regiment.  He died a decade ago (9 September 1990).  I just wanted to know if anyone alive still knows him.  I wanted to know the story during WWII.

Regards,

John Aventino

My Grandfather, Maj. Prospero Q. Ringor of Company L 57th Inf (PS) USAFFE, passed away last march 12, 2007 of Aortic Aneurysm. It would be nice to hear from those he worked with. Smiley
