Does anyone have any information on my father-in law, Elpidio Salazar Metran? We believe he served with the Scouts during World War II. We also have reason to believe that he was a POW, and was on the Bataan Death March. He came to the US in 1972 to claim his citizenship (along with his three sons, and daughter). He returned to the Philippines in 1986, and lived out the rest of his life in Jaro, Leyte. He passed away January 6th of this year. Was buried with military honors. Any information on this Gentleman will be greatly appreciated.
