Mike: Mr. Shelton Tyau, director and sales marketing at Fort DeRussy Army museum in Waikiki informed me last week that the Army Museum Director John McCaughlin recommended that we three survivors of the death march be honored by purchasing a marker along the 65 mile stretch of the killing field called death march route. This is the result of my short speech during our AXPOW dinner last April 12, 2003 at Hale Koa hotel where I introduced to the public the other two Gil Gutierrez of the 12th Med Regt PS and John Moyer of the Phil. Division Hq. regards fredfoz
