The Los Angeles-based 26th Cavalry (PS) Ceremonial Mounted Unit provides exhibitions and displays for the public's educational experience. They showcase the lives, uniforms, equipment and training of the World War II Cavalrymen of the Philippine Scouts. Read about the history of the original 26th Cavalry Regiment here.

Beach Fourth of July Parade

The group performs Color Guard Ceremonies and World War II-Philippines battle re-enactments against Japanese Imperial Army re-enactors in Southern California living history events which gives the public a lasting impression of the Scout’s sacrifices for the defense of the Philippines and the United States of America. Some of the events the group has participated in include the 2014 Equestfest as well as the 2015 Tet Parade among many others.

The 26th CMU will ride in the 2017 Rose Parade.
